  1. πŸš€ Features

πŸ’¬ Pix Messaging

You can use this feature to include a custom message in the Pix transaction description visible to the end user.

How it works#

Create a deposit using the standard deposit endpoint.
Include the pix2faMessage parameter in your request. This parameter accepts a plain string.
Pix Messaging Feature: If your intention is to only display a message without blocking the deposit, DO NOT set "pix2fa": true.
Pix2FA Feature: If your intention is to use the 6-digit code verification security feature using the pix2faMessage, see Pix2FA feature

Limitations and Considerations#

Display behavior varies by bank. Not all institutions present the description in a clear or user-friendly manner. Validate this behavior with your target banks.
The pix2faMessage must be concise. In most cases, it should not exceed 150 characters.
Support is generally more consistent among digital banks (e.g., Nubank, Inter), but this is not guaranteed.
The use of punctuation and special characters is limited and may be altered or omitted depending on the bank.

Example:#

Below is an example of creating a deposit with a custom message displayed in the Pix transaction description.
Deposit request (for more details, please refer to Deposit endpoint)
{
  "amountInCents": 100,
  "pix2faMessage": "Obrigado por usar nossos serviços."
}
